Dr. Feller

Dr. David Feller is a native of Steilacoom, Washington. He received his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in the study of Chemistry. Dr. Feller was accepted to the elite dental program of University of California, Los Angeles. There he received his DDS license with top marks in his class. Dr. Feller then received his Orthodontic Specialist Training at the three-year residency at the University of Pittsburgh. At the University of Pittsburgh, and in addition to his Orthodontic Training, Dr. Feller was the only member of his class who received a Masters of Dental Science for his work and study in Craniosynostosis in a family of rabbits. Craniosynostosis can be a debilitating and severe disorder where lack of skull growth in children may impair brain and sensory development.

Dr. Feller has had braces as a child and adult. At the age of 30 years, he decided to undergo a jaw surgery to treat his underbite. Dr. Feller’s unique interest and experience in the field of orthodontics is the management of severe skeletal discrepancies and the care of complex, multi-disciplinary treatments for adolescents and adults (such as care for gum, crown, implant, or other treatment needs along with braces).

Dr. Feller is an orthodontic specialist for adults and children, and is a trained specialist in Invisalign, early child therapy (commonly known as phase 1 treatment), use of dental lasers for improving contours of patient’s gums and exposing simple impacted teeth, and the surgical placement of mini-screws and their use in orthodontics.

Dr. Feller wanted to be an orthodontist since he was 11 years old. At that age, he knew that orthodontics was fun, and from the incredible support of his wife, Jennifer, he is proud to be a member of Moses Lake’s community where he can give back to those who seek care and attention.

Dr. Feller and his wife, Jennifer, met at Brigham Young University and have been married since 2006. They enjoy being together, spending time with their children and close relatives and friends. They have three children, Alexis (6yrs), Preston (3yrs), and Matthew (<1yr). They enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, walking, camping, swimming. They are avid readers and enthusiasts of good food. Jennifer is a baker and plans to open a bakery in their community of Moses Lake.
